Thanks for this post, Harmony. With all the planets squaring Chiron lately, and transiting Saturn exactly squaring my natal Chiron, the old patterns of suffering have been coming up stronger than ever, despite many decades of deeply working on them. We always tell ourselves things will eventually feel easier and lighter as we bring consciousness to them over time, but this seemed to be the opposite. I told my husband they feel more intense than ever, and he said, "In an ashram, when someone is getting really close to liberation, it takes the entire ashram to hold space for them because it gets so intense for that person right at the end." This was so helpful to hear! We awakening souls will encounter a LOT of ego inertia and resistance, and it helps to remember this. Blessings to all!
oh i love that ashram metaphor and i love the idea of all the people there holding space for someone as energetic allies- truly beautiful! it is darkest before the dawn! saturn and chiron as a double whammy is A LOT. this, too, shall pass. not always easy to remember when we are IN IT- so helps to have others around us who can remind us :)
Hey Karen...your husband's sage advice is such a welcome balm for me during the difficult transits I'm having. I so get everything your are saying above.... so I'm just plain tired at this point!
Bobbie, I totally hear you...right now I've been coughing and nose-blowing for days and really miss that thing called SLEEP...big purge of old patterns going on. I hope you get some quality rest soon!
I am with you! I am going through my exact Chiron Return right now (Aries 22 '50 ) + transiting Saturn on my Pisces ASC (for two long months) -- and it has felt intense!
wow- chiron and saturn at the same time is a lot!!! good news- chiron will move on and not return :) sounds like saturn will too? you are in the last mile of the marathon !!!
Both my north node (23) and natal Chiron (26) in Cappy 8th house have been already deep within Chiron's healing cave, but with all these planets visiting now I am very much having to practice Rumi's advice to welcome the guests to your house and assume that eventually I will emerge from the fire! My neptune at 25 Libra is also in the mix. Yikers-just breathe, right? Thanks Harmony!! Glad to see you here on Substack!
